Parking spaces for disabled and less able drivers are provided and will be located close to main entrances of buildings.

There will be level access to the accessible perimeter of buildings, from the car parking in designated areas and from all footpaths to the main entrance, to ensure all users will have equal and convenient access.

Appropriate paving materials will be used in all areas to avoid trip hazards and to provide visual contrast where necessary to define changes in level to promote the ease of access when navigating the site and buildings.

External lighting will provide a safe route for all, and routes will be well marked and wide enough for wheelchairs etc. The lighting selected will be designed to reduce the effects of light pollution, whilst maintaining adequate levels for safety, for pedestrians, vehicles and general site security.

Emergency services access to all areas of the site and individual buildings is in line with Current Building Control requirements.
